    I can imagine, my fl. Chartreuse wanted to run slightly with just the clear coat vinyl but they dried just as you described. After 2 days hard as a rock, plus the super glue. I have a good feeling they will last awhile i wish i had a better camera to post pictures

    Just make thinner coats and maybe use two coats? I don't think you need to make it really thick. I do know you don't want to use more brush strokes than you really need!

    In truth the Vinyl paint is tougher than the Powder Paint!

    Second on the vinyl, seems to kinda absorb the impact rather than chip. biggest help was the thick super glue it filled gaps where the little cheap eyes would be sticking out slightly making a grabbing point almost. Then the clear coat topped it right off.

    Another question: has anyone tried the CS coatings SEAL-COAT lure and jig finish.
