Default Trolling with "The RR Imitators"

Last week I was long line trolling with Road Runners tipped with a stinger type soft plastic. I was catching quite a few fish until I lost my last Road Runner. Well I got an idea to try and duplicate the action using a tiny snap swivel and a size 00 blade. Yes I carry all kinds of stuff in my tackle box. The idea worked and once again I was back catching lots of Crappie and even a few Spotted Bass. This is just an idea folks that worked. I would love to see your comments.

So now that you've (done it) and found it to work, will this be your new go to method, or an in a pinch method?

Before I got hold of any heads other than horseheads and pony heads I saw about adding swivels to make some up
