    Default Hey from Western NY

hey gang - home for a marching band reunion and man you can't get near Lake Ontario with the high winds and water and they have major flooding right now. Was hoping to get into an old crappie hole but even the water there is so high you'd need a boat to get to it.

Enjoy what you can of the trip anyway. Maybe the wind will lay down and you'll get a little time in.

Oregon is in the same predicament depending on where you're at in the state upper snake River is flooding due to high snow in the mountains or local creek is up high muddy because of snow melt it will probably be towards the end of June before it stabilizes the impoundments where I fish are starting to clear up depending on what empowerment did you fish Brownlee reservoir they are starting to raise it the next impoundment below is oxbow which is a little bit high running but it is starting to stabilize the third impoundment Hills Canyon is in excellent condition and producing a lot of fish all the above are warm water fisheries which are ranked number one in the Northwest for crappie fishing also smallmouth bass.

Iowa is not too great either. Flooding and the wind has been blowing since January. Hope your fishing is good my friend.
