I use a white sheet of paper to shoot my photos for websites. All but a few colors show up great. Like skip said, wood grain also works. Lately, I've been taking them outside, laying them on an oak round that was bucked from a down tree, and shooting them in natural light. Photos turn out great!

The jigs look good to. Billbob Inc... We need pro-staff stickers!! I normally charge to put stickers on the side of my tournament boat.... I'll put that one on the side for free. Especially if it says "Billbob tested, Billbob approved" or has a photo of him someplace!!!

Get a furniture or other heavy, sharp needle and set the end with the eye in epoxy and sand it down to a shape that's comfortable for you. Instant bodkin. Not too heavy. Sewing or quilting shop may have them, I'd skip wally.

That pink and black jig is the right stuff Tom. Some really nice ties there.

I was looking to see if I still had an extra that I could send you and think I do, but if you decide to make one it sure could be better than a bought one IMHO! I have one that I heat to clean powder paint that has been cured out of the eye, but most Bodkins are too thick of a needle and have never found another one as thin as this one I use. It was a cheap and I think part of some set of cheap tools from my beginning. Have often thought of making one that is better for the paint thing by using a needle that will fit at least a little of it through the eye of a small jig head. I have an extra one I bought that I can send if you want, but it's not as thin as I would want for this??
