    Default The KISS Lures

The KISS Bug system make a simple, durable, lure that catches fish. The heads are inside tube jig heads that are painted and tail tied. The heads can also be wrapped with leech yarn or a dubbing noodle for some texture. The sizes range from 1/64 to 3/16 ounces. Tail material can be feathers, fur or rubber hackle.

The KISS Flutter Spoons are made from willow leaf blades. The sizes range from a #2 to a #5 blade. The blades can be filled with solder for added weight. The hooks are dressed with a fine rubber hackle.
There is a good video showing how I make the lures and how well they work on crappies. (icefishingtoday.com scroll down to Do It Yourself Crappies.)
    Enjoy the lures.

Nice paints and ties but I like them with sickle hooks better.

Nice work. I make the same jigs out of tube heads and they are very deadly.

It seems that the slim heads emulate a young fry and just about everything that swims eats fry. It seems that over the years I have caught just about every type of fish that swim in the lake on the small jigs.

Here is a add on for the KISS Flutter spoons or any vertical presentation. The add on works well in turbid waters or when night fishing.
The propeller add some flash and the metal beads add some noise. The small plastic disks help moving the metal disks.Name: IMG_2957.JPG

In Hubbard County we have 6 to 9 inches of ice. I have seen a few small cars on the ice but for the most ATVs are the mode of ice travel.
There are houses on the ice including some bigger wheel houses.
Hears hoping we get some sub zero temps before we get a big dump of snow.

What kind you looking for and how you going to use them ? Jann's Netcraft has really small Colorado and willow lef blades I use above bare hooks. They also sell small ice blades for making tiny jigs.
