Default looking for glue applicator bottle with needle tip

    hey guys,
i use Gorilla super glue for most my ties. i like the option of using a kicker or accelerator
    to instant cure the glue.
i like to have a applicator with a needle point to apply the glue.
i've bought a couple different ones that say they are made to be glue bottles.
but they keep sealing up on me, and are no longer usable.

anyone have a solution for this type of glue, and a smaller tip ?
    thx.

No not that kind of glue! I make my own glue and is not even close to any kind of super glue and I just don't feel it's needed for my tying! Actually I believe I don't need any glue except maybe tying rabbit strips and only on the back end at that! On Thread neck jigs I do like one that is better, but I use Softex for that.
I mix High Gloss Lacquer and thinner about 50/60 and it penetrates to the thread bast very fast and also dries very fast!

i so use an applicator with metal tip and they can be found at most shops you buy materials from!

I saw a video on using clear fingernail polish. Procedure: After your final knots, paint about 2 inches of thread with clear polish, then wrap and cut. I hope this works. My fingers get stuck a lot with super glue. I have very little feelings in my fingers due to nephropathy. I tend to overdose the tie off with super glue.

    Tell me this will work.

Really guys if you have a good thread base and tie well, they shouldn't need any kind of super glue. I can see if tying hair on a hook without a collar where you may want to use some kind of glue to make the hair not twist after it's tied. After all fingernail polish is just Lacquer? I bough a Qt. of Lacquer and a Qt. of MEK about 12 years ago and still have over half of both left, lol! It works just fine mixed about 50/50 and I do not really measure it. This is what I use on every chenille jig I tie!

I use 5 wraps on whip finish on 210 denier thread and 4 on 140 denier, sometimes 5. My glue is very thin and just makes me feel better and yes I know that most likely it's not needed on my jigs.

Should also mention you can not feel the glue I use, there is no hard spot!

I do. You pay attention and ask questions. Two very important qualities. Your jigs do just fine.

I made a broad statement Tim. I should have said the knots are a problem. I tie the finishing knots by hand, not with the "thing". I am hoping the clear nail polish holds the knots together. It is easy for me to paint the string and loop it several times wet with polish. I can't see the polish when I am done.

I have a video of doing a whip finish by hand, but my fingers are just too dry to use that.
