Default Jig Making is Kinda Addictive

Had a little time on my hands, so I made up a few more jigs. The pink one I used heat shrink body. The other jig body is hand wound using black acetate floss, whatever this is. Looks like dental floss. I left the start and end of the floss string long to high-lite the white tail stuff. I know this works cause Crappie Stalker done gat fish using them.
Mine dont look as good as you fellas stuff though. Ima just using stuff around the house and Dolla Tree stuff to make some jigs.

The string takes time, but the heat shrink is very fast when making a jig. Sally Hansen takes longer.

    Yessir it is addictive!

Acetate floss is designed to be used with a drop of acetone, and it will turn from floss to hard plastic like. Cool stuff.

Ok, thanks for the info. Brenda picked up a box of fish type stuff 5 years ago at a yard sale. I am just "gettin aroundtuit". I used super glue on these. I have some finger nail polish remover I use for cleaner. I will try for acetone.

My wife has threatened to put together an intervention and put me in forced jig rehab. It hasn't happened yet, but it she sees the new powder paint, marabou, thread or the new pot I bought for doing tin heads I'll have to quit sleeping.
