Default Tried my Hand At Making Some Paint Like Some I Saw

So tell me what you guys think. I know that some were looking for a way to do Gold well other than plating them and I think there is a decent one right here. Also seeing the Disco colors I decided to try making my own. I call this one Lemon Lime Dazz, LOL!

    just

If you go to this link you can see a lot of different powder mix's and how to make them up. Cardinal rule of mixing powder to make other colors WHATEVER YOU DO WRITE EVERYTHING DOWN!!!! Take it from DA here - have a great color mix and can't remember how the heck I made it!!

Might think about putting those up in the paint mix sticky with amounts to do it!

Hey thanks guys, also here is the Lemon Lime Dazz under a UV Light or Black Light, I don't remember which, but same jig as in the other pic.

The best part about this Fatman is I didn't mix any paint so to speak! I was seeing guys using that Disco Paint which they have in 8 colors. So looking at them I thought I knew how they were making that stuff so I decided to make my own and now will make some more. Little story here, I bought some Metal Flake Glitter from CSI a some years back and bought a pound of each on the good many I have. I was thinking of it to use on bodies of my Sparkle Jigs which sold okay, but not special like I thought they would be. Anyway I have messed with glitter over paint color and all, but never was very excited about it before this and now can see some may be worth making, but think most colors still not possible or not worth it. So I have a lot of Candy and Transparent colors which is what I thought had to be the main part of this. SO I have some Candy Lemon Lime and I added in a good bit (no measurement done) of both Gold Holo and Silver Holo Metal Flake Glitter in it and that is what you see. The Gold is accomplished by using Transparent Gold and Gold Holo Metal Flake Glitter.

On the other 2 I am using some very fine stuff called Prismatic Glitter and it is also Holographic. I am playing around with some so small it looks like powder and these are not cheap! I say 3 because I have the very fine stuff in both Gold and Silver, but the Prismatic is just Silver with a ton of fire.

I don't have enough data to help with the measurements yet, but I am not sure you need them and just have to add glitter until it gets like you want it.

A bit bumpy. What you're using is probably Micah powder. And a lil goes a loooooooong way. Smooth it out with more clear.
All look great, but the lemon lime and gold look awesome to me. Have never gotten those effects myself, but can see where a smudge more clear would be good on the line. The gold looks excellent.
