All look great, but the lemon lime and gold look awesome to me. Have never gotten those effects myself, but can see where a smudge more clear would be good on the line. The gold looks excellent.
Thanks! I didn't do clear over it at all, but I may have some clear mixed in the paint, not positive about that.

The stuff in the more normal paint jobs is the very fine stuff, but the flakes I used in the Gold and Lemon Lime is just the Metal Flake CSI sells, like TJ's has. I have a whole pound of each color I bought, maybe 6 or 7 of them so I need to find something to do with it, LOL!

Oh almost forgot the Disco colors they sell also have that kind of textured surface and the guys using it seem happy with it so far. I have not tried any of it! Also the bumps get magnified a little because of its glowing effect.

I do also think it's a good idea to add a coat of clear and that would be easy to do!

I like using finger nail polish on my jigheads. Pretty loud colors.

Ok. Thought you were doing a seperate top coat with the effects.
    That's how I do it.....just takes longer.
Good experimenting though. I enjoyed This post a lot.

That is what I did on the Pink and Chartreuse. Just saw the guys using the Disco Paint and it's bumpy too so I decided that maybe I know how they make it and looks like I was right, they just use Candy colors and dump Metal Flake in to make it come out like this Lenon Lime one! Once I saw how they were bumpy in a photo I decided to give it a shot and am pretty happy about it. The Pink and Chart ones I did use clear with the Prismatic in it.
I have a lot of Candy Colors so will try more to see what happens and have some ideas!

Skip....Thanks again for letting me grab your picture!

Here's a gold I came up with using the candy lemon lime, clear and a couple different gold micro glitters. These are the two on the right. I added some Jacquard Aztec gold and Solar gold hi lite/pearl powder to the last yellow color and came up with the two gold jigs on the left. Poor lighting for the picture but a lot of the fire your picture shows is in the pair of gold ones. I'm calling it Fool's Gold.

Jackie does that mean that we can start calling Skip the "Macho Man". I know that is how Martha looks at him. I couldn't help myself with the Disco color's. Sorry!!!!!
