Kip tails?

Where is the best place to order kip tails? I have bought them and when the package was opened the tails were junk-thin,off-color,and generally poor quality.Have been paying $3.80 each plus s/h, so I feel like I got ripped! Help is greatly appreciated.

I have usually been please when I buy products put out by Hareline Dubbin and their kip tails have been very nice. I know you can get them from JS Flyfishing. JS has Hareline's tails for $3.18 as I just looked. I know that's a good price too! You better hurry at that price because I see them for over $4.00 from Hareline too! I am thinking maybe they have a sale on as regular price for these is $3.95.

I live in Ohio and up near Toledo is a place called Janns Netcraft. I have bought all my Kip tails from them for probably last 15 years and don't think I've had more than a couple that were questionable. I buy pretty much all my materials to tie with there since I can place an order and sometimes I will get it next day.
