    Default #0 Split ring

Any suggestions how to install these small split rings? My pliers are too large. I'm using the KVD small pliers.

Barlow's tackle has a good one. I use this one for all rings:

This one caught my eye though for the very small ones as the premium can be a bit awkward but doable:

Xuron is what I use and most the pros. Works great on size 0. I have a pair with the nose filed down for smaller than 0. This is a good price. Split Ring Pliers Xuron 496 Jump Rings Opening Plier Jewelry Wire Bead Working | eBay

Agree with Barlow's as a good place to look as they have several different pair for different size rings. Is where I bought my few pair! I didn't look at these links, just know Barlow's Tackle!

I have a pair of older pliers I ground the tip down on that work pretty good because I am used to using them. Last time someone posted these Xuron pliers I ordered a set. Pretty nice and this ebay link is definatley the place to buy.

I use the edge of the blade and feed the end into the hole. That allows a large enough gap to feed onto the crane swivel and use a pair of hemos to complete it. That is if I even use split rings. The last couple years I use jewelry rings and just crimp them tight, less hassle.
