Default Are You Interested in Gold Plated Jigs?

Guys I'm thinking about getting some ball heads no collar with sickle hooks for jig tying gold plated if I can find someone to do it. Would anyone be interested? Maybe 50 pieces minimum per person or something? Enough to make it worth the companies time.

    I'm thinking:
    1/8th oz #2 sickle
    1/16th oz #4 sickle
    1/32nd oz #6 sickle
    1/64th oz #8 sickle

I will do the contacting the company and sell at cost + shipping.

If you know of someone that would plate them, let me know! I emailed Robert @ Crazy Angler to see who he used.

Does anyone know if it is actual gold plated, or some other metal that is gold colored?

Feel free to delete if I can't post here but I think it's should be OK since it's not for my profit.

I would be interested especially if I can pour my own to add to your batch. I need to get some shad dart heads done if possible.

There are kits on fleabay - got one but never used it. You can plate with different metals if you have the correct chemicals, metal, and a low voltage supply.

A person needs to locate and communicate with several platers before anything gets settled on. Many of these guys have a "minimum" order and that can be expensive. Some are just good Joes that see something like this as a door to be opened down the road. I'd want to talk to maybe 8 or 10 prospects and make the same pitch to each one. You might be surprised how much this is going to cost.

Yessir I have been doing the leg work this morning. Just putting a feeler out there to see if anyone is interested. I'm certainly not doing it by myself.

Biggest problem other than finding someone that can do it, is that you will need thousand of jig head to make it worth it to them or you. At least that is my understanding. I use to know someone that was doing that and I just paid him a per piece price to have mine plates with his. Since that he no longer does it. Still the price to have them done is so much per thousand!

that is why I have no interest in selling the ones I have as I can't replace them! Plus it's more costly now to have done! After all it is real gold!

Snake River has some he would like to sell, but not sure he has the size you want??

    Good luck,
