Well had the the 3yr grandson come up and ask to make(tie) a bug .. so I said yes but this time he sat on my lap he was very hands on !! So with grandpas hands on his we tied this he stayed with it till it was done a first for him !! Its not the best looking one in my collection but it is the best one in my eyes !!

You should put that one up and give it to him when he gets older. Good looking jig to.
Really good thing to do and the more interest the better! It's a good jig too and should catch crappie well!

Yeah don't put it away until you let him catch one on it. Get a picture with him holding it the jig in its mouth put it in a shadow box with the jig and a little write up include the date and his age and other little details that would be easy to forget after about 20 years. would be a great christmas present for him or his parents realy.
That's a good looking jig. I agree that it is also a memory maker. Things like that are valuable beyond price.
