    That jig looks like it would tear up crappies late in the fall up here when the cold water starts to settle in. Nice color scheme.

    I like it Skip. A little more bulk and staying within what you usually tie. I have some dun gray colored stuff that I used without the longer regular hackle with smallr hooks that I liked real well and so did the fish. Kind of a gray ghost miniature. Good stuff Buddy.

    I agree, good looking jig. I am also impressed with the jig head painting. What kind of paint and how did you apply the paint? Thanks, Pop

    It's just painted using powder paint. I do use a good bought fluid bed and I heat the head with an alcohol burner for clean heat. Then just dip it and clean the eye and cure in the oven.

    That jig is a work of art Mr. Skip. Almost too pretty to fish with. Almost!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job. I haven't tried feathers yet, but I could only hope to tie something that beautiful some day.
