    Default First chenille body jig.

This is my first chenille body to tie. Once again still using cheap vice and materials I do have better stuff ordered. Just looking for any suggestions or tips I may be missing. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1437095873.978098.jpg

Oh and these are store bought jig heads with collar and barb which make it a bit challenging. I do have no collar heads ordered hopefully will make the chenille look completely even then.

I think when you get the collar -less jigs you will see a big difference. It looks pretty good besides that. And welcome to the site.

I think your jig looks great. Nice proportion and attention to detail. Some folks make them look like that for their taste and it bulks up the jig. Welcome from Kentucky and the art of tying.

Looks good - if you really want you can cut the collar off.
