I've went threw a few thousand of these already. I've noticed that the red hooks tend to chip off revealing the gold underneath. I have however dyed my own gold hooks using a quality alcohol ink. They have seemed to last and have multiple color ink available, including neon colors. The ink is pricey but so are colored hooks that chip off.

Cannot hide money LOL!! wanted the gold hooks were out so got the red!!Which is a gold hook!! Like the black chrome but seem to be a little stiffer hook will not bend to get my jig back when hung on a limb!! But keep some on hand for the small mouth bass fishing friends!!

Any one noticed the Lil Nasty seems a thicker gauge wire and the gap not as wide? Seems I don't get them stuck in my fingers as often as Sickles either when sorting thru. I do like the larger barb and longer point. Maybe just nothing.
