    very nice , I am going to have to get fly rod ,I have been tying for friends and have quite a few flys myself mostly nymps , spiders ,an bugs, and been spinning deer hair bass flys, and have no fly rod lol I use them tied under e a 1/16 oz. jig and float a lot for gills

    You would surely enjoy using a fly rod especially for blue gill. That little fly I tie (Bream Killer) is deadly on them on the beds. That would be around May here and that is most likely what I will be doing next May. All you have to do is lay it out and let it sink until one takes it, LOL!

    Those would put some Redfish in the livewell, probably some Bass too. Those shrimp pattern would do well on the flats.
    TS- When you buy a fly rig be sure the reel will do OK in salt water. Nothing better than good sized inshore fish on a fly. And you'll probably want two, a 4wt and a 7 or 8wt. 5lb of bass on a 4wt is fun but you get broken off a lot.
