I'm looking for a couple of pieces of 5 to7" saddle hackle in grizzly, white, brown, black and olive.....I've never purchased this stuff before so I don't know what type is good for me and would lke to check it out first. Can anyone send me a few pieces and I'll send you a few Float and Fly jigs for your troubles? If you have interested, just send me a private message.

I am not sure what kind of Saddle Hackle your wanting. There is the regular stuff from China you see as strung Saddle Hackle and then there are the Saddles themselves which can be of good quality and from places like Whiting, Conranch, Metz. I am thinking the regular would be what your looking for. When you say a couple pieces, I am really lost on that??

Oh and the biggest difference is the width of each, the regular stuff is kind of wide and the other is long and thin, more for dry flies and size of these is important to guys tying it.
