I buy clear powder paint and put whatever color glitter I want in it or two colors if that's what you want. I get most of my glitter from Michaels, AC Moore, Hobby Lobby and Wal-Mart and have no trouble with any of it.

Mix Glitter with Clear Powder and use it over the color paint. At least that is how I add glitter.

Michaels carries what they call a micro glitter. You can get in in a multi color pack for different effect. I too use it with clear powder. But go easy. It goes a long way.

I have thought about using that to repaint some old crankbaits. I have also seen a clear coat called hard as nails. Who knows it might just work. And NO I never tried it.

Sally Henson's Hard as Nails is a fingernail polish lots of tyers use for lots of things. I use it on fly heads a good bit and even have some of the Extream stuff in Black for that. However there is still a product I think is called Clear Coat and it has sparkles, very tough finish. May have some stuffed in my room and possible the package. If so I will come back amd post it here.
