I think that is a killer jig!

The colors look so natural. If the fish don't chomp on that then they are not going to eat anything.

    Nice work.

That color combo would surprise you, around here anyways. Looks real good to me. Years back Skip turned us all on to using V's of leftover hackle feathers once the tip has been used. I tie a 1'16 with 4 to 6 of the V's and a couple pieces of flash and a chenille body. The fish like em fine and it helps keep the "stuff" around my bench down. The tail of your pic resembles mine, don't mean to hijack your thread. Keep after it, always look at your stuff even if I don't comment.

    Thx everyone.

Pepop, wish I could tell you the greens. But I've gotten lazy writing em down. Will look over my notebook and see what I can find. Basically it's just shaded from dark to lighter greens over an eggshell with a liiiiiight application of Kelly green candy with a few glitters over the top.

Skeet. I use bou instead of hackle. Spreading the clumps almost like spinning. I like a shorter, combed look. Learned from Hunter7711 a long time ago.

Thx Scott. Not something I'd fish with but it's fun to play.

Had an itch after work, so this came forth. Actually proud of paint n wish I could capture the way it shines at angles.
