You've got a good start there!
Been researching and learning to tie jigs and flies, here's my first attempt that passes my inspection (which happens to be my 3rd jig). It's a 1/16oz long shank unpainted head: w/ black chenille body, white hackle tail, red flashabou accents.
Looks like a winner to me! Now you just need to get into painting!
Don't worry, catch crappie.
