What ever works is a good fly. That fly should be a "Fish Getter." If you have confidence in the fly you're using, that should be all that it takes.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.

That's a neat pattern, Thanks for sharing Joe. Here's another crazy ideal I had when I saw yours with the wire wrap. How about spacing the wire a bit more and opposite wrap/weave a second wire where they cross each other on both sides. It would give it a whole new apperance. Of course they would fish the same if it didn't add to much weight. Just a thought.

That's an interesting idea. I've always thought however, that one of the purposes of a rib is to present the image of segmentation in a bug. I would fear that wrapping in both directions might diminish that effect. Interesting idea though. Might want to give it a try and see what happens. It may work fine in that it presents a bit more sparkle.
