Default How to thread a jig when you have failing eye sight

I am sure there are many in here that are having more and more trouble threading the line into the eye of the jig, I know I am. Here is a simple
    solution.

As you can see this magnifier clips on the visor of you cap and works very well. The only problem with it is when looking through your trifocals you may need to shift your cap. There is one the market now that clips on you glasses and flips up out of the way. I have not tried them yet but will. Both can be seen at Cabalas.

These are sewing machine threaders and you buy them at Wal Mart for $1.00 for a pack of 3. They work superb.

Here is the picture of it in use. I used a large thread so it can be seen more clearly. Hope this will help someone like it did me.

You could also cheat and use a duo lock snap, although I hate using them in grassy areas.

Thanks. Great idea. Have the cap magnifier but since my cataract surgery can do pretty good without my glasses for now. Will sure keep the needle threaders in the back of my mind. Again, great idea.
