    just waiten on it to dry...usually paint all my heads first ..but just decided to tie a new pattern.

    Ah Rev,

    One of the biggest debates on many tackle making sites!!!!! To eye or not to eye!!! Some swear by them some don't care, but I think if you were to poll on catch rates between jigs with eyes and no eyes you still wouldn't come up with a definate answer LOL. I usually don't put eyes on mine unless I get the stick on eyes that I coat with epoxy, but it's not very many.

    Fish have eyes. You are trying to imitate young minnows with eyes. Get two different size drill bits and put eyes and pupils on them. Cover with hard as nails. That is what I have confidence in.

    my top one want get an eye...looks to much like a piece of candy to me. im trying the over and under colors after i read the " Science behind the Electric chicken" and ive been trying to work some Fly Patterns into Jigs.

    Those are great looking jigs.....personally, I like eyes with pupils
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    I don't know if the eyes catch more fish or not but they look better to me. Great job.

    I put eyes on my hand tied jigs with chopsticks it takes a while but eyes are better.unless the bite really good.but plastic baits don't have eyes
