Were you worried it wouldn't get there??
Been watching closely, package was delivered
Your item was delivered at 2:26 pm on October 25, 2014 in BOISE, ID 83704.
Sort of! I just wish there was a tracking accessory that said it was in the hands of the recipient!
It's there that's all that matters. While it's nice that there could be a Sig requested for some of us it would delay receiving the box and delay getting it to the next person.
Agreed, Sig would be nice but, where I live and then where I work would mean a Sat delivery only. I'm usually out the door before the PO opens and always home after the mail has been delivered.
Sorry about not replying before this. I hadn't been watching closely since I was at the end of the list and wasn't expecting it this soon. I live in an apartment, so the packages always have someone available to sign. I picked it up from the office yesterday.
I've gone through the box once but haven't done a round 2 to separate the stuff I absolutely need to have. I didn't count as I sorted, but there's probably close to 300 items in the box now. i see a lot of stuff I like, but most of it is lower value like chenille, heads and thread. This box will cost almost $20 to mail. If I take out 5-8 items, I'll probably end up spending more than if I had just gone to the local fly shop.
So what I'd like to know is if anyone minds if I take out more? I will replace them with the same number of items of like value.
Don't worry, catch crappie.
Shoe - do 10-12 items. I've gotten several emails to the same effect that 5-6 items isn't worth it, and it's coming back to me for my turn and clean-up for Round 2. Besides what was in the box I started it out with 34 extras and others have done so also so I'm good with it. The 10-12 items will also be in effect for Round 2.

OK, the box will be going out today. Here's what I kept:
Here's what I sent:
When the box came on Saturday, I thought it was a large flat rate box so I didn't look closely at the mailing label. Turns out it was not. It's a large priority mailing box, which looks extremely similar but is charged by weight. I went through the box on Monday, repacked everything and bought postage through the USPS web site. When I went to pull the old labels off so I could put the new one on, I saw the postage cost and realized my mistake.
After weighing the box, I found the mailing cost would be approximately $33 for priority, $25 for parcel post. I was not a happy camper. I appreciate that everyone is so generous, but $25+ to mail the swap box is absolutely ridiculous. I went to the post office yesterday, got a large flat rate box and managed to make everything fit by removing the outer bag, pulling out the bag of yarn in the above pic and a large pack of loose hooks and practically sitting on the stuff to mash everything down. I will mail the yarn and hooks separately.
I would suggest in the future we limit the size to the large FR box.
Don't worry, catch crappie.
