Thanks for the info. As far as making 20 at once, well that's a different matter. 1. I'm fairly new to tying but not too shabby, but the arthritis in my back don't let me sit at the table too long, really need different arrangement, but am working on it. And yes I agree 1 style is better least wise for me right now. This is a learning experience for me, my first swap so just be sure and give any and all pointers, suggestions, criticisms to me....And will take them into account. Putting my best forward here. Thanks all. Eric

Eric, tying 20 or even 30 in one sitting is a PITA for many of us. I usually tie 8-10 and take a break. For this swap, I cast 50 heads, set up 40 blades and swivels,
will be powder coating tomorrow and while coating is curing will start preparing my feathers. I have a little tray where I can organize enough materials for up to 50 jigs depending on size. After I have everything ready. I will start tying. I may tie 10 or I may tie 20 but not likely that I will tie them all in one sitting. So don't stress out over it, just plan on 5 a day and in a week you will have more than enough jigs for the swap and should have a few extras for your tackle box.

    Very good advice BuckeyeKdog.

I have neck problems and now it seems some lower back problems from an accident a couple of years ago. You will very rarely see me sit down and tie more than about 5 or 10 jigs at one time. It hurts to much. Just remember that every jig you tie brings you one closer to the end. It is kind of like doing a marathon. One step at a time. Each step brings you closer to the finish line and farther from the starting line.

According to my list, we are at 16 at this time. I think we need to grab a few more folks involved with this thing. If I do not have more people in my swap than CrappiePappa had in his, I will never hear the end of it.

It looks like we still have 9 more days to sign up though.

I would say 20 or 25 should be enough at this point.
