Ok my heads are prepped and painted . Will start tying tommorrow. Will probably tie up 25 or so then wait and see how many swappers we end up with on Nov 30.
Bound and determined to get mine done right away. Tied up some prototypes today to figure out direction I'm going to go in. Narrowed it down to 5 possibilities. Trouble is I likes all 5 of em. One thing it really don't matter as they extras won't be wasted.

Len - I have one lake by me that has gizzard shad in it... if the crappie I clean have anything in their stomach, it is usually 2" or better shad or bluegill wich have a similar shape. Even have a bait shop near-by that sells shad, they call them bass minnows, haha little do they know!!!
I got excited and painted up 20 heads, tied 2. Then I decided the head should be a little different color. Probably by the time I get some new heads painted up, I will have changed my mind on the over-all pattern. :p Then what???? I'll end up with some extries as well hays. :D

Heads painted, eyes in place, got 14 tied, see how many more I have to come up with. Also got all the parts for Brimreaper's custom rod from
Panfish swap. Now to put it all together with some fancy stuff!!
