Well let me be honest i work every day i don't have internet at my house. due to living so far in the woods. i check this when i am at work and keep up to date when we started these swaps back way when we had hardly any users here. so it took almost 4 days to fill a 15 spot tying session. I signed up to host a swap last year in october. it took a year to come to my chance to hold a swap. I waited very patiently i didn't complain or anything i waited just as well as the ones before me did. I can understand your frustrations of having to wait for the next swap but that is why we are making this a small swap and i feel a considerable fast swap. most people have kids they have wives and cant tie every night. but they enjoy it if you here just to collect other peoples tying then this is not what we started a jig swap for. we started it so we could see what other people around the nation were tying and using. to help our fishing and tying abilities. i think a lot of people have become greedy with this and there is no need for it. If this swap is going to become a bitch fest and people are going to complain about it. Hell we might as well cancel it and ask them not to allow it. We should be thankful crappie.com and the owners are allowing this.

I've been in every swap since I joined cc and really enjoy them.I've accumulated quite a few jigs and have sent out even more since I always send the swapmeister some extras.I'll be hosting one myself soon and have been thinking about it for awhile now. I'm giving up my spot in this swap and give another tyer a chance to participate. This will give me a chance to work out the details of my upcoming swap. Saline, please give my spot to another tyer.

Hey thanks for letting me know. I had a great time with the panfish swap and will try to get in on another one in the future. Thanks again and have fun tying I cant wait to see the pictures posted on here of the jigs in this swap. I will have more time to get my tying station cleaned up and ready to go for the next one. To many things that need done and never enough time to get them all done. perch

    Early status.

Picked out a pattern. My jig heads are about 1/2 way there. Have to add eyes to them so they can go find the crappie. Should begin tying this weekend.

    Expect synthetic fur/hair from me.

I've got some new materials on the way from CrazyAngler (aka Flatfish). I'll probably use some combination of silver, grey, and blue. I've got a good looking grey pearl powder paint for the jig heads.
