from the DNR:
<<Lake Macbride (Johnson): Some crappies are being caught in 10 to 15 feet of water over structure. Crappies should begin to migrate to shallow areas if the water temperatures hold or warm up.>>
I had one great day at Macbride about this time last year fishing for crappies in 12-14 FOW in the vicinity of brush... followed by days of sheer futility. I'm keeping Macbride on a tight leash this year.
But it sounds like go-time is rapidly approaching. :D

Fish now, you'll be dead for a long time
Weather might screw us up this weekend. Wind on Sat and it looks like Sunday might not even break 50-deg + rainy. I might just work this weekend and sneak out during the week next week when the weather clears up a bit. Depressing!
yeh, Solon was flooded this morning. Between the muddy water and the cold front, things sould be messed up for a few days.
