we were there for that it was terrible
I'm not liking all this rain we have got this month so far. I bet Van Buren County has had around 6 inches this month.
Couple years back Sugema got 7 inches of rain the week before we got there. The lake was up about 6 feet. Boat docks and fishing jetties were completely under water. You literally had to pull your boat up to the trees, pull the branches to the side, and flip your jig toward the shore. Tough fishing and the bite was slow.
Looks like it may be a fairly dry week though. Hope so.
Any reports yet?

That thing looked like death warmed over. That was our first year there and the fishing sucked...still does
That was good though Ghost!! I like rewatching the video from that year in the lake when Butch wouldn't turn around when you were holding it up, im guessing he was laughing his a$$ off!!

didnt someone get sick on that trip? bad food or something
Didn't someone get slapped??
I thought the fishing was pretty good....What bout you jbgud? I vaguely remember our boat not having a problem at all catching fish, yes the lake was high but the bite was on, at least for our boat. Now for the other boat being guided by that guy that looked like he was a bee keeper, well, the only thing they caught were a bunch of snags and you could follow the bobber trail back to Mt. Sterling to AJ's. Yea, I do remember somebody getting sick, a couple of them and I also remember somebody holding up the kitchen counter at 3am..........Ah for the good times and memories....
TT
Take your kids hunting so you don't have to hunt for your kids.

LMAO...bee keeper...priceless.
Bite was good that year. Not too many snags as water was so high, floated right over tops of trees, unless you decided to leave your anchor on the bottom when moving from spot to spot to get "a feel," for actual bottom structure someone holding up counter? I vaguely remember that picture in my head of the counter holder upper, kinda hard to have tears in eyes from laughing so f**king hard!! Hard to forget next day with the chunks all over someones boat.. Only one person i know could have done that
and i wasnt even at the bar!! "Nights I cant remember, with friends i'll never forget." Tobey Keith
