    Can't wait to hit lake sugema with this weather, I just hope it is still like this in May

    It is beautiful out. I just got back from Truman/LO area visiting my folks and all the guys with boats there made me drool! It wont be long with this weather.

    Heading out to Rathbun tomorrow. Can't wait...A little fishing but mostly giving to boat a good running. LOTO and Truman are great lakes.

    Caught a 15 and two 14s. 6 to 8 feet of water, on the ledge of a river channel. 49-53 degrees caught on black and pink with chartuese head. Wouldn't touch anything else. Beautiful Day!!!

    Heading back out this weekend, got both props repaired. Really got spring fever. I have a feeling the spawn is going to be a few weeks early this year.

    Im heading out today at the Res. I just finished redoing a 1988 SmokerCraft and this will be its first voyage. If it doesnt sink I plan to fish.

    It didn't sink! The fish weren't cooperating thou. Only a mess of shorts and a couple nice ones.
