prchjerker / mantooth - i'm fairly well stocked with artificials like jig heads, roadrunners, maribou jigs and all kinds of grub, minnow and tube bodies. i've even got suitable crankbaits for trolling if needed. is there anything else in particular you would recommend? i'll understand if you don't want to give away any secrets. and i appreciate the guidance you've already provided. it's nice to see experienced guys like you sharing your knowledge with us novices. be sure to stop by for some fried fish (hopefully) and cold adult beverages. i'll keep my eyes open for the black Lund, lookout for a tan unmarked aluminum Skeeter with a Tracker 75 on it.

The wife and I are going to Rathbun the 12th and the following weekend.
Will try to find the good ones.
We haven't gotten to high in the tourneys but sure have fun trying.
    (still bring some filets home)
Good luck to all in the Crappiemasters and the 60 day tournament.
Fishing is a way of life. Teach your grandchildren to fish, hunt and enjoy the outdoors

mantooth - let me know how it goes at Coralville. That's another lake i've been thinking about hitting. That's only a 2 hour drive for me. Where I live in Illinois leaves me closer to bigger Iowa lakes than in my own state.
