    well where to begin???? I have a meeting tomorrow with a centerville computer company and they are going to help me get a web site up at no cost so that is a start from there we are looking at trying to get some sponsers and have a meeting or 2 this winter for membership drives I guess we are moving in the right direction and hope that we can get this up and running but i am alittle confussed i must confess when i look at the views on this thread and see over 850 views makes me think the interest is here but seems like only a few want to get serious!!!!! Please if you are or think you might be interested in joining us take a min to sign in here and give us some support PLEASE!!!! it would be great to here from you and give us a good idea of what kind of serious interest there is out here. We really have a good core group with some great ideas for some good old fashioned fun fishing and getting Lake Rathbun back on the fishin map, so please again can you just take a min and post a reply to this thread and show us your support Thanks Frank 641-895-4911

    interested in youre club but im a year round crappie fisherman so if there is no interest in ice fishing im really not shure i know my whole faimly enjoys ice fishing girls and boys age rangeing from 8 to 16 and my wife also i do fish more tournements on the ice then i do open water . but would be great to hear any ideas you have .... i know i left you a post awhile back about ice fishing with no reply so im just wondering if youre just not interested or what thanks randy feel free to email me a [email protected] or call me at 641-895-9459 i do have some great leads on people who are conected to recycledfish.org the have a great program going for year round fishing thanks again

    Not sure why you didnt get it but I did answer your first message but just to let you know I talked to the guys in the club and there just was no interest in ice fishing some of the members are snowbirds and are in Arizona for the winter and we have several that are avid hunters and a few more are trappers It is not that I am against it but my bait shop is closed for the winter and for me to open it up and heat it for the day would be very costly in fact to my knowledge the only baitshop on the lake that is still open is Bridgeview and she closes in december sometime. Keep in mind we are just getting up on the ground floor so is ice fishing out NO but we need to get this club rolling and from there i cant make any promises but i can say if there is enough members interested in ice fishing then we look at it and go from there if you care to chat my # is 641-895-4911 thanks for you interest look forward to chating to you Frank

    My son and I would be interested in a club.I think everyone quit fishing too soon. Wers really knocking the big whites and will up till ice out. Will be ready in the spring when you get it going. Once the word ges out it will grow.

    I spoke to you in a pm in reference to starting an affiliation club in NE and haven't had much of a response… I’m curious if this will be an affiliation club or not? If it will be, then you can count me in for a membership.

    at this time we are too small to even think about it but if we grow and things look good in the future sure we well think about branching out thanks for asking and we would still love to have you on board
