Default Spring is coming! Spring is coming!

I took a short trip (3 miles from the house) to the west dock at big creek today, hoping to see lots of water. Unfortunatly, I saw lots of ice. BUT, the edges (about 5-8 inches) were water, so fishing time is coming. I'm ready to take a trip to Missouri, just to get my line wet.

Gunner said it right but is anybody out there? Lake Odessa still has ice in my area, what is the report on your local water. Anyone been by Geode, McBride, or Belvadeer?

we fished my inlaws pond in Moravia today. Open water caught 10 Bass up to 3 pounds and 10 crappies 11 to 12 inchers. Most of the water in southern Iowa is open. Roberts Creek was 70% open late last week.

I went to Lake Oddessa yesterday. No ice and no fish. It was nice to be out though. Went by the backwaters of the Big Timber and it is open but the water is at the edge of the parking area. If it comes up a few more inches they will close the parking area,
