I'm pretty new to fishing, this was my second summer. I really hit it hard this year, with a different boat, it was a lot more fun. I was hitting the lake 2-3 times every week, and now.....nothing. I'm really getting withdrawel symptoms. Shakes, depression, wild mood swings, sweats then chills :-) . All due to "no fishing". I can see why people get in to ice fishing. It's not because they like it, it's because there is nothing else.. I'M READY FOR SPRING! I'm working 2 jobs, and started teaching classes(anyone need or want CCW or pistol training? contact me for more info), but it's not enough!.
What's going on with everyone out there? Anything interesting?

Yep, in Iowa. I live about 3 miles from Big Creek Lake (Just North of Des Moines)

Hey Jim,
Thanks again for the boat ride last fall! I am gonna have to figure out a way to get you out on the ice with me! We are catching a lot of crappie.

We had a great day today. Mostly gills but they were some toads up to 11 inchers and over a pound. Did have several crappies but didnt get there till mid morning. Sorry a;ready have my CCW.
