    Default 10/30 Big Creek

We got out to Big Creek later in the morning today. The bite was a bit slow, but we were able to catch some. We ran out of live minnows, used dead minnows. I don't think the crappie cared. We ran out of minnows after 29 crappie, so tried some jigs. They just don't like them as much as minnows. Decided to call it a day about 2. Hoping to be out on the water again tomorrow about noon.

I was out there too, but there was a boat sitting right on top of the brush pile I had caught fish on before. I found another brush pile, but wasn't catching anything there, so when the other boat left I pulled over there and caught 5 crappie and a nice big perch before I had to leave.

If that boat happens to be a red triton, drift on over and say "Hi". I'm always up for company
