    Default 2010 National Championship

Just got home from the Classic On Truman Lake. Had a great time, finish in the middle 103 out of 220 teams. Would like to congratulate the Nau's who won the the Rathbun tornament this year, they finished in 11th. That is pretty impressive against some very talented competition. Also the Batterson's finished in the the top 50, great job. They are pushing to have it back there in 3 years. Looking forward to getting more time on the water down there. The winners fished exclusively in 5 feet of water over submerged structure. They won it convincingly, good for them. It would be great to have the classic someday at Rathbun.

I think we have our work cut out for us to keep the crappimasters tournament series coming to Rathbun. We really should get organized so we can focus our efforts on keeping Crappiemasters coming to Rathbun. Maybe we could start a club of some sorts. Get together a couple times a year. Have a fun tourney, dicuss issues, and just generally try to better Crappie Fishing in Iowa.

I get off subject easily, great job to all the Iowa teams there! See you guys out on the water.

Thanks for the congrats. I can say that last week of fishing Truman was tough, I have never fished a lake that just turned over and now I know why IT'S TOUGH. I could not ask for better camping weather of company arpund the camp ground. Monday was our best day fishing I think we could of wieghed close to 10 then It seemed it got worse in a big way.

Good job! I've only fished Truman a couple times, but love the lake. I keep intending to get down to Rathbun before winter sets in. My cousin has worked for the Corps of Eng down there, just about forever and is retiring. Was hoping to get with him and see if he could get me on some hot spots.

May have to look up some of you local experts
