I am prety sure I will make it. Ill bring my boat.It is a 2005 Tracker Targa 17 so there is plenty of room. I wish I could use my 115 Optimax on that lake.
Hank, count on it bro. We'll find enough spaces. Any way you could bring an electric motor and your battery in case we do rent boats?

I can bring the battery...our electric motors, yes both of them, aren't working right now. The one only runs in one gear, and the other doesn't run at all. But yeah, I'll bring the battery! Any idea who I'll have the pleasure of fishing with that day? TTYS
Hank
I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast I then most humbly pray. When in the Lord's great landing net and peacefully asleep. That in His mercy I be judged, BIG ENOUGH TO KEEP.
Hank, looking forward to going with you and Bill to Potato on Saturday. Bring your battery and we can see if anyone needs it. Don't worry about your motor. I'll get some minnows, maybe we will get into some Fall crappie. I need to refill my freezer!!! See you at 6am in the church parking lot. Meet on the South parking lot near Door A.
I wish I could come with you guys!! It sounds like it is going to be a great day out there. I hope everybody has a lot of fun!!! The wife is in the hospital with our yet to be born baby girl. She (the baby) seems to think she is ready to enter this crazy world of ours. Someone forgot to tell her she has to wait until 40 weeks to do that, not 28! LOL!! If the crappie aren't hitting, Mike, go to that long point on the northwest end of the lake and try slow-rolling a white spinnerbait for bass. Works every time!! Good luck to everyone!!!
Wenderin, my prayers are with you and your wife as your child comes! Thanks for the pointers and directions on Potato. I'm sure we will have some pics to post!!

Here's the report from our trip today American Sportsmen Outing
Mike, I made it over there today but never did see you.I got there about 7:30
and left at about 1:30. Put nothing in the boat.Enjoyed being on the water anyway.
next time.Bill C
Bill, I'm really sorry we missed you. We put in at the East launch at 7am and we sitting out in the stick ups straight out from there for some time. Another one of our boats went out on the west launch and the other one went and rented a boat. So we weren't together that much. Then we began to work around the lake. I'm bummed that we didn't connect with you. What kind of boat do you have? I was looking for you but didn't see you either. We fished on the east side for a while then went over by the dam and tried it. One of the other boats caught a couple crappie and a cat. And the third boat caught a couple bass. I wish I'd got your cell phone number or something. Sorry about that, next time we'll make better plans.
Mike
