    what do i need to fish patoka besides a out of state licence and a lake permit? is the lake permit the same for residents and non residents?

    Boat launch permit is same for non residents 20.00 fishing lic is all you need

    Lake permit and a non-resident license is all you need to fish Patoka.

    Non Resident - Annual-$35 Seven Day-$20
    DNR Lake Permit - $20 (I believe)
    Caught so many fish today my thumb is sore from clicking the counter.

    You have to have a lake permit to lauch your out of state boat in Patoka? Uh-Oh...I fished a few times there last year and never thought much about the launch sticker as I was told it's called. I thought it was something for Indiana watercraft only. My trailer sure did look funny in the parking lot with no tags on it ( boat trailers do not have to be licenced in Ky) Boy I sure am glad DNR did'nt come along on those days. I've learned something new. I do know however if you try to get a boat from ky switched over to Indiana without a trailer title they want your first born for payment and want you to visit 40 times before they resolve the situation.
