    Default Morse Still Good

Caught these today, Fish around the docks have slowed. I think it's the approaching cooler weather. WAS fishing docks around 6-10', but I believe those fish are inactive. Caught a lot of fish in the docks, but the larger fish were hard to come by. I found these fish suspended over the first drop-off anywhere from 12-15' of water.

Was on the water about 2 1/2 hours, but limited out in about an hour once I found them.
Caught so many fish today my thumb is sore from clicking the counter.

Nice catch, I noticed the same thing today (the fish leaving the docks (except the small ones), did end up finding a group off docks in the mid-section of the lake, and I had to take the bobber off to get the hits. The water color switch to coffee to murky, to somewhat clear every 200 yards which made it interesting... I bet the cold front will shut em down for a few, but it was good while it lasted.

I got into some fast action yesterday in shallow water...but it didn't last long. I couldn't buy a fish after that... I think they moved out deep. It was almost too calm yesterday I know that black crappie and white have different patterns from reading the KY dnr studies. They have some interesting information there where they have tracked blacks and white during the year.

I'm trying to figure out what that container is you have your crappie in...almost looks like a bowl of ice. Are you sure you weren't ice fishing ?:D
