    Default Glendale FWA

Anybody ever fish Dogwood or the smaller ponds for crappie or bluegill? Always wanted to go, but usually just fish the lakes that I know. Plan on going sometime this spring. Any info would be appreciated

I caught a few gills at Glendale a few weeks ago on the ice on one of the ponds. Nothing to brag about about 15 I guess. Good thing about Indiana weather though caught some crappie the last two days on open water one yesterday was in just a few feet of water however that wasn't at Glendale.

Fished Dogwood through the ice 2 weekends ago....for about 20 minutes. We got kicked out. The lake is closed for the season.

I haven't tal;ked to anyone that been fishing down there for a few weeks. The lake has opened back up to the public.
DNR did post a new fishing report for there today, but there reports are pretty generic.

I go to dogwood lake twice every year in the spring and in the fall for 3--4 days with some friends of mine we always catch a lot of crappie and bluegills and many of the crappie in the 9--11 inch range a few years ago a couple of the guys caught a 16 inch and then later on another guy got a 16 1/2 crappie.
we normally go in late April or sometime in the first 2 weeks of May.and then in October.

can some one tell me how to make a new post I was going to introduce myself but I could not figure out how to do it.----Jim

    Jim,

Go to the Indiana Crappie page (the one that lists the topics of the posts). You'll see a button for new posts.
