Tried up river today, around 1812/ Troyers bridge area. Water was high/flooded and muddy and moving fairly swift, nothing happening there. More rain and cold front coming, lake level still 10' over summer pool, spillway is blasting out; not a good year.

I had thought about tryin this area later this week. So far the river doesnt look like its been impacted much from thid round of rain. Another shot tho thursday night. Maybe a half inch. We will see. I went back and tried at the spillway monday night after work. Not as many people but still a good amount. Water was up from Saturday and not many eddys to fish. I did catch one nice white bass but that was all the luck i had.

Was finally able to get on some crappie at the spillway yesterday. Finally got a spot on the cove and the bite was good entire time i was there. Both crappie and white bass. Have to sort through some small ones though. Best part was running into 2 of the local CO's out there checking all the illegals, i mean foreigners. Even better was watching one write a 700 ticket to one for being 15 fish over his limit. He even offered us the extra fish. Good to see. I for one am tired of there crap they act like they own the place and that rules dont apply to them. They said it was the 2nd time in 2 weeks that same guy has been ticketed. Ridiculous.

It's about time. They need to spend more time there writing tickets out. Start confiscating equipment, is what I say.

I beat none of those fish were over 6". Saw one with a stringer of 6" fish with some around 4" and I'm not kidding.

Down here at Williams Dam on Eeast Fork of White River, CO’s writing same tickets to same illegals…CO told me they dont even show up at court. My nephew has contract to mow grass there and has to cnstantly call CO to get them to move their vehicles as they park on grass and not supposed to. One threatened his guys mowing when nephew was there and had to show illegal he was packing his sidearm and to back off. Its getting bad everywhere. Total disrespect of others and them trashing place up also.
