Dad and I fished yesterday afternoon all west of Red Bridge. We did pretty well given the water conditions I would say. We caught most of our fish trolling jigs in 5 to 10 feet. Not really many people out.

Fished up by the dam this evening and did decent. Didnt get there till about 630 and caught a few right up on the bank on bobber and jig. The best bite though was about a half hour before dark. It was almost every cast casting and retrieving a twister on a 16th oz jig head. I kept 15 solid ones. Pretty even mix of males and females this time.

Went out on main lake today in jon boat. Did pretty good along the shoreline and back of coves. A lot od sorting this year, lots of 7"-9" fish got thrown back. Did manage a descent mess of 16 keeps. Looks like rain most of the week, might try again in the morning.

Yep seems like lake is full of 8 and 9 inchers this year. I took my son and went back today around noon for a few hours. Did pretty good until around 2 then seemed to slow for us. We called it quits around 3. I kept a dozen to throw in with what i caught yesterday. Tried for gills for a time too but never really got into them. Think its still a few weeks early forthem where we fished.

Fished up at the dam off the rip rap last evening. Crappie seem to be done spawning up there. I caught maybe 7 or 8 casting and retrieving twisters. Most were small but caught 2 bigger post spawned females toward dark. Compared to last few weekends though it deffinitely seems there done up in that area. Bluegills have started though. I took my son and his buddy and they caught quite a few on redworms. Missy has some decent gills in it. Ill be targeting them now for a couple weeks and then its wading time on the rivers looking for sauger and eyes.

I hit the main lake again Sat. morning. Slow day as fish seem to be moving back to deep water and are more scattered. Still a lot of 8"-9" fish but did manage about half a dozen keepers. I'd say it's all but done at this point.

We were there Saturday also. I was expecting to fill the boat but it didn't happen. Tried first casting to shore but switched to trolling as shore fishing wasn't producing. Our results were similar to yours.
