Default Cold front but hot bite

I caught fish in 1’ of water last week but the bite was somewhat slow . Yesterday during the cold front that passed thru I was catching them deeper. Crappie were hammering jigs and most fish caught were in the flooded wood in about 8-15ft of water. I think some fish pushed out a bit with this latest front. Water temp was about 60deg. Hope the bite stays like it was yesterday as it made for lots of catching. Was on a stripper pit that has lots of shorter fish to weed thru. This girl was just short of 13in and ready to bust with eggs. Let her swim to do her business.

WTG and good information, thanks for the report and pic. Yes cold front blew thru my area as well and they were in a foot of water last two weeks in one spot on my home lake but moved off. will try deeper water brush today.
