Crappie Wall Hanger II
Any updates on conditions? Planning on hitting it Saturday. I know there is a tournament and I'd rather go somewhere else but it gives me a chance to drive over and take my Dad out.

Last time i was there was last saturday. Water was decent. Place was packed with people. I caught a few slabs way back in goose creek in about 3 feet of water. From what i have heard and pictures ive seen the bite has been on all week.Ill prolly be over there tomorrow. I may wait till later in the day though.

We did decent. Lots of small fish. Kept these 25. Biggest was 1.25 lbs. Tried casting first and got nothing and then started long lining jigs.

I was over tonight and fished off the rip rap at the dam. Very slow. Caught maybe 5 crappie and only one was over 10 inches. On saturday i did a little better but not great. Is spawn done? I usually can catch crappie up at the dam till first of june. I threw out a rod for bluegills too but no takers. Usually do pretty good there when they come in to spawn. Actually had a couple dink crappie hit the redworms today.
