I think they all quit and took up basketball! I see more reports from Indiana fishermen on the Ky. board.

    Yep,
Closer for me to drive to Taylorsville than anywhere decent here in my part of Indiana.
I will be fishing the Ohio River much more this year though.
I am only 5 minutes from the ramp.

Sauger are still biting Chuck. I've been 2 out of the last 3 days. Slower than before I but haven't got skunked neither trip. I'd be interested in any info on Sauger fishing the Markland dam area.

    Water still up and muddy.
Not able to fish here yet this year.
I’m still chasing the crappie at Taylorsville. 5 minutes from river ramp but driving 45 minutes to Taylorsville.
Rather be fishing the river for sure.

Here in the central part the weather is 50 one day & 20 the next. Got to love Indiana weather. Wind blowing 40- 50 mph today with the temp. dropping. Not my kind of fishing weather.

Wind blowing here today too. Gusting to 50 they say.
Cold front coming in and temp has dropped 10-20 degrees.

Haven’t wetted a line in Hoosier waters yet in ‘23 but I just got back from my Florida place and caught my PB last week! Was fishing off my Dad’s dock while my parents were off in their boat. Caught a 2.8lb slab and then Dad came in with a 2.5! We released both to spawn. Not much of a bite going on at the St John’s right now but some big ones are being caught occasionally.

Like Chuck said I would have stayed. Nice job !! I sure do like the dark colors on the slabs down there.
