I used to fish Hardy years ago. It had nice redear when I fished it...
Still awful and I don't think it will ever recover from the DNR doing good things. Watched boat after boat eagerly throw dinks in the live well. Caught over a 100 crappie in 5 hours and wouldn't waste time cleaning any of them. Not to mention the 50 5" yellow bass I caught. Such a shame what has happened to what was once my favorite lake in the state.

Hardy and Patoka makes me mad. You would think DNR could work on the issues.

sounds like over population to me, I even had a game warden, on Patoka tell me if I didn't want to keep the smalls I was catching to throw them out, not back into the lake.
smiles are contagious, spread them around

No I went on a week day. Seeing the schools of them by the thousands on livescope. It would take a lot on the bank to make a dent. They have infested the entire lake.

He was at Wooster on Thursday. I usually don’t get into the yellows too much when casting to cover but definitely more so when trolling jigs.

If you think that’s bad, try Versailles.
last year my daughter and I went spider rigging on a piss poor day. We caught 250+ fish. 6 keepers
I got surveyed again yesterday. He will be there 5 days a week until October and they’ll be doing an electro fish survey later this week. He expects the 9 inch limit to get dropped and maybe do something to get the grass back? He also reiterated to throw all the yellows on the bank or keep them but don’t put them back. They tagged some fish back in 2017 and are trying to see how they’re doing now. Sounds like they’re serious about improving the fishing there. Hope they figure it out.
