racoon reports?

Finally getting out on the water for the first time of the year tomorrow. Thinking about going to racoon. Has anyone been out recently? any luck? Is the water back up to summer pool yet?

Louisville District Daily Lake Report It’s at summer pool but they are dropping it a 0.2 ft per day and in all probability will take it down to winter pool again.

It was the same depth I remembered over the summer last year. water was indeed pretty muddy. Tons of floating debris north of the bridge. I still saw a couple of brave guys in bass boats ripping through. water temp started at 45 and warmed to 51 at the surface during the day. Only caught 1 fish. Marked quite a few, but struggled to get bites. There were tons of fish that looked like crappie around the end of the rental dock at the SRA ramp. Appeared to be thousands of them in different schools in about 20 ft of water. They were not eating what I was serving though.

The mud & floating debris will only get worse with all this rain were getting this week.
