Haven't spent a lot of time on that exact pool. but fish the river and tribs when water allows. Bite is very dependent water flow and levels. The river is overlooked but holds good crappie. And in my experience will stay shallow year-round.
Any tips for ohio river Evansville pool crappie?

I appreciate the feedback water is up right now, might have to give it a try when water drops back to normal.
Flows in vs. Flows out are something to pay close attention to.

I fish the Evansville pool a couple times a year targeting crappie but usually struggle to find them. I fish near the JT Meyers dam on the pool. Always catch a bunch of fish just not many crappie. I would love to figure out the crappie on the Ohio. I fish all the feeder creeks and current breaks but haven’t got it figured out yet.

@fishfood123 I’ve bass fished the Evansville pool a little bit, but never targeted crappie on the river. I appreciate the feedback
