Hit the lake again today, with a box full of new bandits and picos to try out.

We launched right at daybreak, in an attempt to dodge the crowds. Was actually pretty peaceful for the first couple hours. We had a good bit of action, but caught way too many catfish and white bass.

We did catch a keeper walleye, and about 15 crappie worth keeping. The white bass got so thick after 8am or so it was hard to keep rods in the water. I believe we had 5 fish (with 6 rods) on atleast once.

The last pass before going back to the ramp the water frothed with a school of bass, so we pulled what rods we still had out before the cranks got to the pile. My wife still caught one just getting the rods in.

Seems 9am is the cutoff to avoid ridiculousness on the water. We drove off about 9:25, and even tiny Egypt hollow ramp was lining up with pontoons and ski boats.
